KKS September Skrappy Challenge - Be a Mermaid + Life is the Bubbles

   Good morning krafty friends!

It's September and that means it's time for a brand new
SKRAPPY CHALLENGE

with Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

 The theme of course is ANYTHING BUT A CARD!

For this challenge you can make anything that strikes your fancy....except a card!
So design a new scrapbook page, bookmark, tag, altered item, planner page, art journal, ATC cards...whatever you like!

Just make sure to include some Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps products and make sure it's a new creation!  As soon as we have at least five people playing along, we'll be giving away a $10 gift voucher to the krafty shop as the monthly prize!  

You have until Monday, October 4th to enter, and you can submit as many new creations as you like for more chances to WIN!  Also be sure to share your designs on the Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps' Krafty Friends facebook page because we love to see your stuff!

I decorated a pencil pouch for this months Skrappy challenge!

Went with an under the sea theme using Be a Mermaid and Life is the Bubbles. I stamped the images in wicked black and colored them with my copics. Because its quite a loose woven fabric I touched up some lines with a fineliner where it didn't stamp perfectly.

I used the She sells sea shells stencil with foil.

I recommend using the deco foil DUO gel so you can do this with pressure instead of heat!

I only had the regular deco foil transfer gel at the time and the pouch didn't fit through the lamminator and using an iron was to hot the foil wrinkled. So instead heated the gel with my heat tool and then quickly put down the foil and repeated that (i do not recommend this method, it worked ok, but you easily burn your fingers).
