Northern Lights Druscilla
Happy Sunday everyone!!
Hope you are all enjoying you weekend, I spend mine coloring and reading!
So today I have another Tiddly Inks card for you featuring the gorgeous Druscilla.
I colored her a nothern lights background which was a lot of fun to do!
It is always so easy to just color an image and leave the background white,
I'm not saying there is something wrong with that cause I do it often myself.
When you add the right papers and embelishments you can make beautifull cards that way.
Only I am always a little carefull with my embelishments, I love, love, love the super embelished cards!
But I am not great at making them myself.

So what I wanted to show today was an image that really didn't need much embelishing because I added a background. A background is such a fun way to transform a image into a scene and you can go so many ways.
I could have made her a forest scene and would have gotten a whole different look. So instead of spending a whole lot of time on the card I spend more time on the coloring.

For the card I went with just one plain colored paper that matches the color tones in the image and gave her just a few white/silver embelishments and put some glitter on her wings.
Here a close-up from the sparkles they are always difficult to pick up on camera.
I used a pop-up card so I could enter this card in the new Tiddly Inks Challenge
and the image is put on the card with 3D tape.
I'm entering this card in the Tiddly Inks Challenge #186...Make it Pop!!
Also using this as my second entry into the Tiddly Inks DT-call
